• Carter's Mounts are a small independant hi-tech business situated in the English Lake District town of Grange over Sands.

• Carter's manufacture prepacked and bulk bevel cut mounts,craft mounts, Big Mounts and multi aperture mounts for photographers,artists and retailers.

• Carter's Mounts and David Carter Picture Framing (still in operation) were formed in 1995 as an offshoot of the specialist David Carter Illustrations business.

• During the 1980's David Carter was well known for his mountain paintings of the hill shepherds of the English Lake District and the English National Trusts flocks of Herdwick sheep.
