Carters Mounts make white core double mounts with clear self seal bags.
These mounts consist of a bottom mount overlayed by a top mount with 5mms of the bottom colour showing. Carters doubles are glued together.
However the majority of customers selling images to the public using double mounts tend to use light colours on light. See colours below and left.

 Snow/ Ice White A bright uncompromising colour. Pure none textured. Not to be used where white is predominant in a photographic image. |
  Ivory Rich , slightly creamy. Useful as a top mount on doubles. |

 Cream. Slightly warm, comforting and reliable. |
 Textured Antique White Subtle textured , warm, the colour of very very pale custard with too much milk in .. Ranked top three in sales. |
 Light (or Delph) Blue For the small people. Nursery photographs in pale blue for the young. Links with light pink. |
 Willow Green Perfect as the light undermount for double mount applications. |
 Light (or Shadow) Pink For the small people again .. Links with Light Blue. |
 Smoke( or Dawn) Grey Stand alone or perfect for undermount applications as a colour accent. Textured Snow White on top looks terrific. |
 Mid Blue Useful colour bringing up the rear. Foil blocked in silver foil looks good. |
 Mid Green Useful secondary colour. |
 Damascus Green Not the darkest of greens but plenty of applications for event photography. |
 Maroon Slightly "winey" on this monitor but generally, rich and dark. Useful for regimental purposes. |
 Colbalt ( Ocean ) Blue Nice darkish mid blue with a hint of vitality . Often used by Universities. |
 Russian Green University applications again. Slight acidity in tone. |
 Satinwood (Light Fawn) Gentle light tone . Great undermount. |
 Seal (Dark) Brown Useful heritage colour/ sepia photographs. |
