Carters Mounts in 2008 manufacture double bevel cut picture mounts in a range of colours where an additional bottom mount of a complimentary colour is bevel cut and glued to a top mount to enhance the image.

In theory all the standard colours that we manufacture for picture mounts can be used in any of the combinations a customer may prefer.

The majority of customers use a light colours like cream 43, antique white 65 and textured snow white for the top and the darker colour .. black 11, dark green 18 or dark brown 07 as the bottom mount colour.

Double mounts are usually made with a 5mm differential on all sides between the bottom and top mount.
