Drawings

Before Carters Mounts David Carter was a mountain painter recording the life and times of the hill flocks and the shepherds of the English Lake District. His work at the time was taken in private collections in the UK and America.

Today age has taken it's toll and running between fells to stay ahead of flocks of Lakeland Herdwick sheep are a thing of the past.

So today he concentrates almost exclusively at producing detailed pencil drawings of his home in the Dales and his weekly "exile" to the Lake District.
