How many mounts can I order ? If you order by the BUY DIRECT option you can buy as little a sten units per size with no minimum order.
I can't see the size or the item I need ? Not unusual. Many of our mounts particularly the more specialized freestanding units are made to order. Please telephone or send us an e-mail. We'll see what we can do to help.
 Why minimum ten unit orders on normal stock ? Carters manufacture with some of the most sophisticated computer cutting machines available. The downside is that these machines work by the sheet making single unit manufacture uneconomical and difficult to place within volume production environments. |
 But I only want a few ? We do our best to keep our commercial prices down and even purchasing ten units of any given size is cheaper than the high street. |
 How long do I have to wait ? There are so many variables associated with this that we have to be fairly general. We try and establish at the outset deadlines. If we can't meet them we would say. Generally you should allow as a maximum 7 working days. |
 Why so long .. others do an overnight .. ? Thats right they do. But imagine this manufacturing unit as a great big sweet shop full of goodies. These goodies can and do take forms that are any outer size, any inner size, any combinations of sizes and with exceptions of pale blue with pink spots (out of stock) a variety of board colours. |
 Lets move to apertures.. the hole in the middle. Our published price lists show print apertures. These are not set in stone except for BUY DIRECT orders. At no additional cost you can have the aperture you need to fit your prints. |
 I'd like extra apertures.... more than one. Not a problem have a look at the multi aperture mounts to get an idea of what's possible. |
 What are Liner backs.. Liner backs hide how you tape your image into the mount at the back. They perform a tidy up function. Normally made from 1275 micron cream pulp board. Growing trend to use the slightly thicker colour coordinated mountboard backs (more expensive). |
 Carters do have to reserve a right... There are always situations where an order is required with unreasonable conditions attached. If we feel that this is the case we have to refuse to take the order. We are not able to do sale or return. We always ask for payment before we despatch. |
